*Advisory: Detectors are equipped on a standard basis with SR-W04 combustible sensors. The SR-W04 combustible sensor replaces the older D4-RW90 sensor. The D4-RW90 sensor included a heavy duty silicone filter that is not necesssary for most monitoring applications.
The SR-W04-SF sensor is a special application combustible sensor that includes a silicone filter. The SR-W04-SF should only be specified when the environment to be monitored includes known sources of silicone or silicon containing vapors.
The SR-W04-SF silicone filter equipped sensor should not be used when monitoring diesel, kerosene, jet fuel or other heavy hydrocarbon vapors with flashpoint temperatures above 38°C (100°F).
